ABOUT
Alba in Blue is a Spanish emerging indie folk artist based in London who tells her life story through honest and relatable songs. Her main sound relies on her powerful and delicate vocals, her piano, and her use of acoustic folk instruments and synths to create her world. Through her songs, the artist shares the importance of fighting for your dreams and building the path towards your own happiness, despite insecurities, fears or other people’s opinions.
Classically trained in piano, Alba is an expererienced performer, dwelving from the depths of progressive rock to the intrincates of acappella conducting and arranging. She also has a background in musical theatre, which allows her music to thrive in storytelling.

Alba’s solo career began in 2023 with her first release ‘Miedo’, a heartfelt indie pop ballad about the struggles and doubts that arise when giving yourself and your dreams a chance, speaking about fear of failure among other relatable themes. In her second single ‘Ashes’ she continued her story with a powerful alt rock ballad that captures the raw emotion of feeling trapped in a place you’ve outgrown. The song moves through tones of anger and vulnerability before ending on a hopeful note, evolving from indie rock into an epic opera rock finale, where Alba's past voices echo the fears that haunt anyone trying to break free from their old path.

Her latest single ‘Out of Myself’ is a hauntingly beautiful folk ballad built around a mantra, inviting listeners into an immersive, evolving soundscape. Beginning with a delicate piano line and atmospheric synths, the song builds through layered harmonies and strings, mirroring the journey from overthinking to release. As the music intensifies, it reflects the struggle of breaking free from the thoughts that hold you down, before fading out as it began—reinforcing the sense of clarity and letting go. “It’s about stepping out of your mind and seeing the bigger picture,” explains Alba.

Alba is in the works for an upcoming EP in the near future, where she will explore coming of age themes such as love, desire, frustration, life changing decisions, fear of leaving what you’ve always known, failure and determination.
